Be You Bi Yu is the realization of the dream and ambition of founder Hyun Martin, CMT/LE.

After graduating with a B. A. in Political Science with enough credits for minors in Science and Business from Indiana University, Hyun came to Washington, DC to change the world. Not having a trust fund, she went to work for the Four Seasons Hotel in 1990 in food and beverage and was part of the opening team for the ANA Unkai Restaurant. She transferred to the Fitness Club and the rest is history after her manager suggested she go to massage school to assess the massage therapists. During her Swedish massage coursework, she was introduced to Chakra Massage. Realizing she could feel the subtle energies of people, crystals and places, Hyun went and studied with gifted healers across the country and around the world. She quickly had a practice that serviced the Fortune 500 CEO's, Wall Street brokers, movie stars, rock stars and royalty all over the world. Having a practice spanning London, New York and Washington, DC was her life in the Nineties.

During the new millenium, she had her first child, Cameron. Right after his birth, she was opening up the Sports Club LA Splash Spa at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Washington, DC. Coming back after maternity leave for her second son, Sean, she had to experience a third management change in three years with the company was the last straw. Hyun wanted to create an experience of wholeness and aligning the body, mind, emotions and spirit in a center. Her dream has continued to evolve and transform itself as her goals have changed.
